Winter Celebration Info
WHO: Classes included in Winter Celebration are: Preschool Dance, Kinder Hip Hop, Kinderdance, Modern, Creative Modern, Contemporary, Ballet 1, Teen Ballet, Teen Jazz and all levels of Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap and Tumbling. Due to FDW’s December presentation of the Nutcracker, ballet 2 and up classes are not included in the Winter Celebration.
WHAT: A short performance to celebrate the winter season. Costumes for the show will be borrowed from the studio and/or simple items from home with minimal associated cost. Some teachers may choose to use your new Winter Celebration T-shirt for the performance. Costume specifics will come in future communications.
WHERE: Brodniak Hall at the Anacortes High School
WHEN: Friday, Dec 5, 2025- Dress Rehearsal 4:00-9:00, Saturday, December 6, 2025 - Performances at 2:00 & 6:00.

WHY: Give students an opportunity to develop performance skills and celebrate the technique they are developing in class. We hope that all of our dancers will be able to participate in this exciting performance opportunity. Teachers are busy creating dances and may have already begun teaching choreography to your students’ classes.
Parents must opt out in writing by 5pm on Friday, October 3, 2025, if their student(s) is/are unable to take part. A non-refundable performance fee of $40 per participant will be charged on your October statement, which includes your dancer(s) Winter Celebration T-shirt, a lanyard, and a video link from the performance.
